Differences of heat shrink tubing

       There are several types of heat shrink tubing, including Single wall heat shrink tubing, Dual Wall Adhesive-Lined Polyolefin Tubing, High Temperature Heat Shrinkable Tube, High Voltage Busbar Heat Shrinkable Tube, Medical Heat Shrinkable Tubing etc. Each type of shrink tubing has different usage characteristics as follows.



1. Single wall heat shrink tubing

Is a polyolefin material heat shrinkable tubing that complies with current environmental regulations. It is widely used in industrial and commercial fields, such as outer insulation protection of wire splices, metal pipes, electronic components, and so on.


2. Dual Wall Adhesive-Lined Polyolefin Tubing

Adhesive lined heat shrink tubing with environmental sealing capability for a wide variety of electrical applications, including automotive and marine wire harness, wire splices, breakouts, and connector-to-cable transitions.


3.High Temperature Heat Shrinkable Tube

It is made of irradiation cross-linked special fluoropolymer with outstanding chemical and solvent resistance to be used for where to need high-temperature and abrasion resistance. To prevent wire and cable markers from mechanical and chemical abuse. It reliably protects electronic components while permitting their identification and inspection. Can also be used to provide insulation and strain relief of electrical connections and wire terminations, identification of wires, and packaging of components.


4. High Voltage Busbar Heat Shrinkable Tube

Heat shrinkable busbar protection tube is used for busbar insulation protection of substation and high and low voltage switch cabinet. Heat shrinkable busbar protection tube is capable of making switch cabinet compact, like reducing the interval distance, to Prevent accidental short circuit fault.


 5.Medical Heat Shrinkable Tubing

Heat shrinkable tubing is made of the USP Class VI medical-grade polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) material.It is suitable for the operation in a high temperature environment, and has stable performance to chemical substance such as alcohol as well as excellent mechanical abrasion resistance. It can be designed for the insulation protection of medical devices which require smoothness and high insulation performance.
